Matador Mexican Cantina & Tequila Bar is owned and operated by Jason and James, with 2 locations. Each provides a neighborhood feel with a family fun environment. We pride ourselves in knowing as many of our customers as possible and providing the best service. Our menu features traditional Mexican food from the Michoacan region with the best Tacos available in the Atlanta area. Enjoy a wide array of drinks from the bar and the best selection of Tequilas available.

The first Matador – in Oakhurst Village of Decatur – opened in the spring of 2006. This location has a cozy feel with a great outdoor patio. Here we have weekly drink specials and events, and you can find us at many neighborhood events. Check out our calendar for more details.

The second Matador, located in Glenwood Park of Atlanta, opened in the fall of 2008. This location is much larger and boasts a spacious outdoor patio, dining room and separate bar area. Here we have multiple flat screens, where you can watch and even play Soccer, Football and Basketball games. Check out our calendar for weekly and special events.
